Shark 200-S Data-logging Wireless Smart Sub-meter

Westbury, NY - Electro Industries/GaugeTech announced that its Shark 200-S Data-logging Wireless sub-meter was declared Category Winner in EC&M magazine’s 2010 Product of the Year contest.

Building on EIG’s Shark series metering platform, the Shark 200-S sub-meter provides highly accurate 0.2% revenue-certified bidirectional energy measurement coupled with extensive interval data logging and patented IEEE 802.11 WiFi communication.

Extensive on board memory allows the meter to record multiple months’ worth of energy usage data and many other desired parameters. The unit comes standard with up to 3 historical logs as well as alarm and anti-tampering system events logs. The meter’s creative multiple communication-connection design lets the user harness real time and stored data on any new or existing infrastructure using open Modbus TCP/IP architecture.
